The French Revolution introduced the Goddess 'Liberty' as the definitive symbol for the overthrow of oppression, and by the end of the 19th century, Lady Liberty became the undisputed female emblem of the United States. She was portrayed for all posterity by Auguste Bartholdi as the Statue of Liberty, bearing the torch of freedom in New York Harbor.
May all the Gods and Goddesses bless our sacred land with liberty, security, abundance, justice and peace.
